It's got bluetooth capabilities, so can work with wireless headphones. This is a huge plus as I am extremely clumsy and tend to snag myself on wires,
It's not an iPod.tio
It's 8GB, which is plenty since my music collection is still developing doesn't really have much content at the moment. The brand (Sony Walkman) has a very good rep as this is not a laptop so it ain't gonna explode. The MP3 has generally been given 5/5 stars on all the sites I've investigated it on. It is known for having one of the best sounds you can get, even from other MP3 players. It's about a million times better sounding than the iPod but that's probably due to format.
The main reason I want one is that train journeys can be particularly tedious. I'll use it at other times when I'm out and about obviously. I used to use my phone (which is also a Sony!) but the battery life is shit on that when I use it's music capabilities. The MP3 player's battery life is around 36 hours.
The main issue? The price. £140ish. Parents are contributing £100, I'm putting in £40. But still, that's pretty steep. So finally we get to the question (please answer well and not silly):
