I theorize it is intentionally manipulating the episode number so that Disappearance's ending is the season finale. Just like the season finale last time
was Melancholy part 6.
It's douchey, but... eh. So long as I get Disappearance I'm happy. If not, I will Thwart God's Evil Plan to make this Endless Eight endlessly eight. |

My preferred method:
This week's episode finished a short while ago - no end. 6 episodes of E8 on top of Bamboo leaves us with 6 slots left, and that's not enough for both Disappearance and Sighs, which has to air before 00 to keep with the novels' chronological order of things. At this point I'd prefer this entire reairing to be nothing but Bamboo, E8, and Sighs, so it, Disappearance, Snow Mountain, etc don't get chopped up. Bring on Season 2. |
